As a passioned car freak I caught the GT-R virus, spread by the wonderful marketing machine of Nissan.
I bought the car even without driving, feeling it in real life one year ahead of the EU market launch. When I finally got the car I noticed the potential was there but could be improved.
In my search for the right modifications, I first had to conquer several problems;
The car was stock when after 3800km my ATTESA system broke down, resulting in a complete new transmission, some 5k km later I got a new engine, it was some weeks before Nissan decided to replace all engines of the 399 first delivered GT-R of the main EU continent.
After all this bad luck I was fed up and decided that if Nissan wasn’t able to prove building a reliable sports car, as they promoted it (Any where, Anyone, Anytime..) I started the modifications.
First I got in contact with Ben Linney, most of the GT-R freaks will know him from his company GTC
ben helped me great with the cobb accessport, and lots of other GTC stuff like the GTC Titanium exhaust and downpipes;
Unfortunately my Belgium HPC did a poor job on installing it resulting in a complete molten rear (lots of EUR ..)
With this bad experience in mind, I decided to switch. I remembered talking to a guy at the Essen Motorshow, Markus Brömmler. He shared the same passion and vision about the GT-R so this was a quick decision to contact him.
I must say this HPC works on a complete different level!
Those guys are great, but my quest is not finished. Therefore I am starting this site, I want to start this project and see if I can make it a niche brand like Nismo itself
